Letting go procrastination, feeling of being “out of time” and trauma for INNER PEACE

I worked on the following topics with Astuti: procrastination, feelings of being “out of time” or “stuck in the moment” and overcoming trauma.

After having a discussion over these various symptoms, Astuti suggested for me to access my subconscious mind memories and to heal my birth journey.

While walking through my birth process during a hypnosis session with Astuti, and then while listening to the recording that she prepared for me based on that session, I found an amazing feeling of inner peace. This came along with an increased sense of self-esteem and reassurance that I can do what I plan to achieve while enjoying not only reaching a result but also enjoying the process of getting there.

The session with Astuti has freed my mind of thoughts that were pulling me down, not allowing me to thrive, or thoughts that were not allowing me to enjoy having achieved something (for the fact that the process of having actually reached the goal had been so exhausting due to procrastination and self-doubting).

Subconscious mind reprogramming session with Astuti has also provided me confidence in terms of accepting and embracing what my journey and timeline in life has been. It has been like finding the key that opened the box that held the missing piece of the puzzle that made things make sense.

There are a number of impacts the session has in my life.

In terms of personal relationships, I have the feeling of being in the “driver seat” of my life, with the assurance that where I am is where I want to be.

The session with Astuti also helped me see that in order to truly overcome trauma and in order to be in a healthy relationship with someone else, I first needed to be at peace with myself. During the session, I felt that peace, and as a consequence, my relationship with my partner is at the point where we are ready to continue building the future together.

In terms of impact at work, because of this increased sense of self-esteem, I feel more confident when facing stressful situations at the office, and I am enjoying the challenges that those bring along. I feel more productive as well.

As if by cleaning the “blur in my mind” (the worry of struggling with the feeling of not being sure to be able to get things done, postponing things for when I found a better moment to complete or address issues) I have become more efficient.

Astuti was very caring, and she was very clear in terms of how the session and hypnotherapy would work, and also very open in terms of what can be achieved through the therapy.

We discussed alternative paths for tackling the matters at hand, and upon deciding what was the best way to go based on her recommendations, we commenced work.

I would advise you to give Subconscious mind reprogramming a go. Every balanced human being struggles these days to find the time to connect with his/her own self and inner voice because life gets busy and it might be difficult to set the time with ourselves and introspectively consider where we stand in life, how we feel, what we want to change and or want to do better, or simply differently. Doing this can help you exactly do all that in a very effective way.

Uplift My Life Today Podcast – Ep. 13 – Let’s talk about intuition – Sahar Huneidi

Part 1:

(You can also listen to this podcast from iTunes, Spotify, Google Podcasts, Breaker, Pocket Casts, and RadioPublic)

YES! It’s one of my favourite topics and one that I got asked a lot about.

My relationship with my intuition was amplified significantly after my father died in 2012. My life was in crisis then and I wanted to be able to connect with my heart (that was grieving so much) to know how to go on in life from then on.

I knew then it was time for me to let go my fears that stopped me from being connected to the voice within me that always knew what would be best for me (I didn’t always like nor trust what I heard from the voice within). I also decided to learn some intuitive skills as a kick off of my journey and until today; I’m still developing my intuitive skills.

I’ve made major life decisions following my inner guidance from deep within my heart and, while it has not always been the easiest journey, the choices I’ve made since have allowed me to bring a lot more peace into my life (Peace is what I choose to experience a lot in my life. I choose to become a peaceful person).

In this episode, I invited Sahar Huneidi. Sahar is a Dubai-based holistic Personal Development Mentor and Guide who helps people around the world to develop a plan to get back on track with the life that is aligned with their true essence. She does this through her program called #Unbox The Real You.

In our lively conversation, Sahar and I discussed what intuition is, how to cultivate the skills to be connected and live our intuitive guidance with ease and courage. It is filled with enriching tips that you can take with you and apply it immediately (have fun with them!!!)

Please share this episode with your friends and family. The more people become more in-tuned with their soul, the easier it is to show up in their lives in peace and with ease.

Enjoy this lively discussion!

Uplift My Life Today Podcast – Ep. 11 and 12 – The inner journey of Mo Gawdat (Founder of #OneBillionHappy)

Part 1:

Part 2:

(You can also listen to this podcast from iTunes, Spotify, Google Podcasts, Breaker, Pocket Casts, and RadioPublic)

One of Mo Gawdat‘s goals is to help 1 billion people to be happier.
Yes, 1 BILLION people!

He founded One Billion Happy Movement after the success of his Solve for Happy book, which since has been translated into many languages. This is, indeed, his personal moonshot.

The former Google X Chief of Business Officer refocused his life following the passing of his beloved and wonderful son, Ali, who lived his life with so much peace and happiness. This personal moonshot is Mo’s way to honour Ali’s memory and continue his legacy.

In fact, this is how I got to know Mo in 2015. I was introduced to him by our common friend as he finalized the Solve for Happy book. I became one of the early readers then. Since, we’ve become good friends.

With such a personal moonshot and focused dedication and commitment, I wondered where he is going with his journey, beyond all the goals he has been pursuing. This is what this podcast episode is all about.

As we were about to catch-up a few weeks ago, I asked Mo whether I could have our “usual” chat recorded as a podcast episode and he said yes (I must admit, it felt weird to do so, yet we both were happy we did it).

Join us in this 2 parts relaxed yet deep chat:

  • Part 1 is when Mo reflected on what intentional living means for him and how he’s been living this consistently;
  • Part 2 is when Mo shared his truest and highest intention is for his life, beyond One Billion Happy Movement and all his other goals.

Enjoy this lively discussion. Take whatever you want from it and remember to share it with others!

Uplift My Life Today Podcast – Ep. 10 – How your birth process still impacts you TODAY – Sharon King

(You can also listen to this podcast from iTunes, Spotify, Google Podcasts, Breaker, Pocket Casts, and RadioPublic)

Yes, you’ve read it correctly. Our birth process STILL impacts us TODAY!

Knowing what I know now, it all makes sense. Yet, when I found out about it for the first time, I was gobsmacked, to say the least.

I got to know this as I went through sub-conscious mind therapies during my journey to rise back from the burn out I experienced at the end of 2008.

In getting back to a full life again (with an intention of never to experience a burnout again ever!), I discovered what human’s subconscious mind is and how it has been impacting my life. Most assumptions we have about ourselves, others and life were formed before we turned 7 and they make us respond or react automatically to situations. Repetitive assumptions (beliefs) become hardwired and automatically influence our behaviours.

In one of the sessions when I traced back the limited beliefs that triggered the needs for me to over achieve without taking care of myself, I landed in a memory of the time that I was in my mother’s womb! It was SURREAL yet fascinating at the same time.

I never thought of that period of my time consciously. Heck, I didn’t even know that I had a consciousness then.  It was mind-blowing!

That was not the only time I was taken back there by my subconscious mind. There were a few more times and each time I realised I formed beliefs that still ran my life until the point of healing.

I was intrigued and started digging reading materials about consciousness in the prenatal period. In Biology of Beliefs book, Dr. Bruce Lipton, a renowned cell biologist and an expert in Epigenetic suggests that Subconscious mind is a part of our mind that serves as a database of our stored programs primarily derived from the programming a child receives from the time we were in our mothers’ womb up to the first six years of life.

I then came across Sharon King, the creator of a subconscious mind healing method called Matrix Birth Reimprinting. After reading her book, Heal your birth, Heal your life, I decided to learn her method to support my clients even deeper in their healing journey. As I did that, I got to read two other books:  The mind of your newborn baby by Dr. David Chamberlain and Being born by Robyn Fernance. Sharon mentioned Joseph Chilton Pearce as her first mentor in understanding the importance of bonding process between mother and babies. You can find his work here.

A whole new world opened up to me!

In this podcast episode, I invited Sharon to share with us why and how our birth process impacts us today (the same is also true for anyone who had been a part of giving birth process) and why it is important to heal the traumas created then for our lives today.

Please share this episode with your friends and family. The more people become aware of this, the better as it has an important piece of information about us. The more we know about ourselves, the easier it is to show up in our lives in peace and with ease.

Enjoy this lively discussion!

Love,
Astuti

Uplift My Life Today Podcast – Ep. 8 and 9 – Insights from a Monk turned Surgeon – Jehan de Soyza

Part 1:

Part 2:

(You can also listen to this podcast from iTunes, Spotify, Google Podcasts, Breaker, Pocket Casts, and RadioPublic)

What I find to be VERY helpful in moving through life following my calling is to be connected with people who are in their journeys moving through theirs. The reflections we share fuel our journeys.

I am fortunate to have these friends in my life. Excitingly, each of them has a very unique path.

I’m putting this blessing forward to the world, to accompany you too.

Introducing:  “Intentional Life”, a series in my podcast.

In it, I reflect together with these Go-getters about their journeys and what it gives them. Lessons from the horses’ mouths!

In this first episode, I sat together with Jehan de Soyza. Jehan is an Eye Surgeon Trainee in Royal Perth Hospital, Australia.

As a part of his intentional life, Jehan lived and worked as a Monk for 9 years in multiple continents.

He didn’t set out to be one from the get-go. He was a Business student. In fact, that’s how we first met in 1995.

The reasons of his evolution – his intentional life – why and how he’s been doing it, the struggles, the presents, and how he brings them into his life today is what we’re discussing in this episode. We reflected together on success, happiness, meditation and self-growth.

The chat is split in 2 parts:

  • The first is about why he chose to serve as a monk, the journey to become one, and what his ascetic life then was like (Mind you, I’m super curious to hear details about it, aren’t you?)
  • The second is about what he learnt from it and how he continue to integrate them into his life today as a husband, a father, and a surgeon.

Enjoy and be inspired!

Uplift My Life Today Podcast – Episode 7 – Are you breathing consciously?

(You can also listen to this podcast from iTunes, Spotify, Google Podcasts, Breaker, Pocket Casts, and RadioPublic)

BREATHE…

I heard my therapist repeating this to me as I received her help to rise back from the burnout I experienced at the end of 2008.

BREATHE…

While I followed what she asked me, I was puzzled. I didn’t understand at all the context of why she asked me to “breathe” when I was obviously breathing.

I did, however, develop a “new” habit since then: to remember to consciously breathing regularly everyday. I still keep it until now. I can’t speak highly enough how conscious breathing habit changed my life.

In this episode, I invite Michelle Sabatini to share with us in-depth what #consciousbreathing is, what it does to us, especially in helping us to un-stuck ourselves from any situation anywhere, and how to do it.

Enjoy!

Freeing myself from a 39-year imprisoned mind

I lived the first 39 years of my life in prison.

Not the prison with bars and guards, but rather a prison of my own mind. There was just something blocking me from the freedom of an unencumbered life.

Since I was 30 years old, I tried everything from exercise to yoga, meditation to various other esoteric therapies. Things improved but somehow I couldn’t break free. I wondered if I ever would.

After learning about Marisa Peer’s RTT therapy last summer at the MindValley conference in Tallinn, Estonia, I decided to have a look whether or not someone was practicing this technique in Zurich. Thankfully I found and met with Astuti on April 9, 2019.

I am now writing this on May 21, 2019, and I cannot begin to tell you the impact our session has had on my life. I tried everything before, and although I am sure those efforts contributed to the triumphant success of the hypnosis therapy, the breakthrough that occurred on April 9th was truly remarkable.

Astuti expertly and compassionately guided me through some difficult memories from my childhood and allowed me to relive them in order to construct a new internal narrative. This new narrative is based on understanding and love, a brilliant change from the anger and fear of the past.

Everyone who knows me is absolutely floored at the changes. My energy is intense and pristine, physical weight is just falling off of me and I am so much more present. I was always an empathetic and kind person, but my sincerity is now palpable and I am constantly noticing ways to be of service to others. Whether a smile, simple helping hand or significant offer of support…I look at myself now as a karmic warrior seeking to spread love wherever possible.

My life is now based on gratitude and appreciation. The anxiety and stress has gone away, and I can now look at the difficult periods of my past life with happiness because the road ended here. I have no regrets and I see life now as a giant karmic jigsaw puzzle. No more tunnel vision about my own deficiencies or struggles, but rather a wide open mosaic of awareness and love. And where love is not yet present, I see opportunity for it to flood in and heal.

I look back at all of the people who were there for me in my life and I am just overwhelmed at the kindness in this world. I cannot even relate to my life prior to April 9th, it’s truly like another lifetime. It’s as if Astuti helped me wipe slate clean and I am, at 39, able to start all over again.

The most important lesson I learned was to never give up. If I had, I would have never met Astuti and I would not have tasted this new reality. There are many ways to heal yourself and others, hypnosis being one of them. But, whatever you try, you have to commit to it. Commit to being one with love in this world and it can happen for you. And if you commit, you will one day run into someone like Astuti who can help you break through to the other side.

I’d like to share a quote from Terrence McKenna which sums up my thoughts on my journey:
“Nature loves courage. You make the commitment and nature will respond to that commitment by removing impossible obstacles. Dream the impossible dream and the world will not grind you under, it will lift you up. This is the trick. This is what all these teachers and philosophers who really counted, who really touched the alchemical gold, this is what they understood. This is the shamanic dance in the waterfall. This is how magic is done. By hurling yourself into the abyss and discovering it’s a feather bed.” Terrence McKenna
