Opening our hearts gives others permission to do the same.
For the guests in “The Honest Hours” series, vulnerability is one of the most powerful life skills they learn on an advanced level. Sharing their stories here is profoundly healing them while also helping other people’s journey.
While sharing one story’s in public is daunting for every one of our guests, I do not often have male guests come on board and open up what they once thought was taboo to talk about.
This is what I cherish so much from this episode – having our guest, Adam, opening up and reflecting on his inner journey to come out from decades of depression, shame, and substance abuse.
Please be warned that this episode entails some raw and emotional details about suicidal ideation and depression. If you find yourself triggered in any way, please pause and do what you need to do to get yourself back on track.
We also would like to emphasize not using psychedelics without professional assistance from a psychedelically trained therapist.
Whether you are in the midst of your journey or you’re supporting a loved one going through theirs, we hope you will find these stories inspiring.
Please share this with anyone that would appreciate it.
Let’s support each other’s healing journeys.
With love,
Astuti and Julie
