New Moon, Solar Eclipse, and The Return to Ease

Hi everyone,

The universe is putting on an absolute masterpiece tonight, August 12, 2026.
As the day ends in Zurich, a New Moon will lock arms with a Solar Eclipse: a literal reminder of how to burn bright from the inside out.

For me, this isn’t just an astrological event. It is the perfect, literal mirror for my life lately.
This celestial reset is happening in the fiery sign of Leo – the ruler of passion, courage, and unapologetic soul expression.

Looking back, I can see how many major milestones I have been crossing all year leading up to this summer. I made important choices from my truth, held intensive transformational containers, and birthed a creation straight from my depth.

Today, on this exact day of cosmic rebirth, my workbook The Return to Ease is officially available on Kindle.

What a beautiful reminder from the Universe: when you are courageous enough to let your outgrown world go dark, you make room for a sky full of falling stars. The slate is clean. The shadows are integrated. The light is returning.

Balancing the scales of devotion


A lesson from my late father’s medal
(and a clearing invitation for you for July 29 2026)

 

I had a beautiful realization today about service, lineage, and balance.

My late father, Suwarto Martosudirjo, was a visionary physicist.

After earning his PhD at the University of Birmingham in England in 1974, he returned home to build Indonesia’s National Institute for Physics in Bandung from the ground up. He didn’t do it out of obligation (even though he had to return as part of the agreement he had with LIPI then); he did it out of pure love. His life philosophy was simple: to live is to serve the collective (and I discovered an unspoken “price” that he and my paternal lineage carried for generations: even when it may cost you).

His joyful devotion to lifting up the lives of many through science – specifically his pioneering work in renewable solar technologies for rural farmers and establishing the country’s first measurement standards – earned him the Bintang Jasa Utama, the highest civil Star of Merit granted by the Indonesian President in 2004.

Yet, my father never truly celebrated this massive recognition. It didn’t mean much to him because of his unconscious programming.

Growing up, I always thought it was just humility for he was that kind of person. Now, I realize it was also because receiving and celebrating simply was not an established pattern in our family. Our life was honorable when we gave or did something useful for the collective. What came back was not that important. It was received but not fully integrated.

My father gave a lot living his choice, emotionally, physically, spiritually, financially and mentally. By extension, our family gave a lot too. I particularly remember missing him so much when he travelled for his work. He was my safe person growing up. There was no mobile phone then, as you recall!

Months ago, I did the deep energetic work to clear this exact overgiving pattern from my life.

There were so many layers of it, and ancestral was one part of it.
Breaking this changed so much in me.

Because I cleared this space, I was able to birth my new workbook, The Return To Ease, from true alignment and finally published it three weeks ago.

Two days ago, I did something my paternal ancestors rarely thought of doing: I chose to pause and celebrate my own growth. I hosted a beautiful gratitude lunch surrounded by close friends. Instead of emptying my cup, I allowed my community to pour love, presence, and appreciation right back into me.

For me, this was a physical confirmation that we can create massive impact from a place of abundance and ease, not exhaustion and sacrifice.

Yet, today, thinking of my late father’s medal, the final puzzle piece clicked.

I saw the deep lineage pattern I had already broken, and why it was so vital that I did.

Mine is one that feels spacious, and I feel alive in it.
I love, and I let myself be loved, even by strangers.
It is a life that feels truly rich, in the truest sense of the word.
I live following my soul’s guidance instead of over-planning and over-thinking it.
I feel that my life makes sense for me, even when it may not be the case for others.
I am living a life I will be able to call, on my deathbed, well and fully lived and enjoyed.
